Psalm 23 is very clear to us. We are so familiar with this scripture; we need to take care not to lose the force of what's being said there: "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." We can put away all of the fears, the anxieties, all the doubt and the "mystery of the unknown" that tries to pressure us. We can put all of that away; just drive it away with this one phrase, "I shall not want. I'm not going to lack for anything." "There is no weapon formed against me that can prosper" [Isaiah 54:17]. "I shall not want.
