About Us

Calvary Temple is a non-denominational medium sized church.  The goal of the ministry is to provide powerful sound Biblical teaching which empowers believers to live victorious Christian lives.

Bible teaching at Calvary Temple is very practical and focuses on loving God and loving others, preparing for Jesus' imminent return, raising godly generations, and evangelizing the lost.

Calvary Temple is a tight knit, multi-generational community of believers and families.  The pastoral staff, headed by founding and senior pastor, Star R. Scott, has been faithful to this local fellowship for over 50 years.

We gather to worship the Lord as a community three times a week:
  • Sunday morning at 10am
  • Sunday evening at 7pm
  • Wednesday evening at 7pm

What to Expect

All services begin with corporate prayer time, then include a praise and worship music service, followed by a Bible teaching. We are a Spirit-filled fellowship, expecting the Holy Spirit to move in our midst, distributing His gifts as He wills. (1 Cor. 12:11) Following each service, feel free to hang around for fellowship and/or to meet directly with and ask any questions of any of the pastors.

We have an interactive Bible-based children's ministry during the adult service. Our experienced children's ministry team would be happy to welcome you and your child to Calvary Temple. We offer ministry to children of all ages, from nursery age throughout elementary school age.

What About Our Children?

We believe that children are the heritage of the Lord and care for them as such (Ps 127:3). We offer a lively and loving children's ministry at Calvary Temple during the adult worship service. All visiting children are welcome to attend and participate in the activities that are planned. The worship and Bible lesson times are tailored for the age of the children.

All visiting parents are welcome to visit their children's classroom and greet the teacher. For more information, please call our church office, or ask for information from any of our church greeters when you arrive.

What to Wear?

We are a casual fellowship, however we do ask that no flip-flops, tank tops, or shorts be worn in the sanctuary during our services. We believe that honoring God with our hearts can be seen in how we honor Him with our dress. (1 Tim. 2:8-10)
